1. What exactly does the Ship on Account module do?
The Ship on Account Module enables your customers to have their orders shipped on an existing account with a shipping provider by creating custom form fields to collect additional information at checkout.
2. Does this module collect payment for Shipping?
No, our module simply allows you to collect the information needed to ship on a customer's account. However, when you print a label using your customer’s account information, your customer should be billed directly.
3. Does this module process shipments for me?
No, our app allows you to collect all of the information that you need to ship on a Customer’s shipping account with any provider, but you will still need to create the shipment, labels, etc.
4. Do I have to name my Shipping Method ‘Ship on Account?’
No, this module is very flexible, and will allow you to offer any kind of ‘pay-later’ Shipping Method, including Freight, COD, etc.
5. Can I add a field for __________?
Yes, you can create text and/or dropdown fields to collect any specific information you need from the Customer, you are not limited to just a Shipping Provider or Account Number. There is also no limit to the number of custom form fields that you can add.
Will ship on account interfere with my shipping application like Ship Station or Shipper HQ?
